God wants you to be a winner, not a whiner.
–Joel Osteen
You were born to win.
You must have heard this sentence a thousand times in your life. But in actual life, we see its opposite in effect. You are a godchild. God created you in his image and gave you all his powers so that you may not lose in your life.
If you do not believe that there is a God; that you are somehow related to a god or a superpower, who loves you and is always with you in your life, then you must first go and learn about it, because without this knowledge you may have a difficult time achieving enduring success.
“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience”, said Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
You are a spiritual being created in the image of God, who is perfect and omnipotent. You are invested with divine potential. With God, all things are possible. Since you are a godchild, you are blessed by certain endowments and talents to help you succeed in life.
The best and one of the most important gifts he has given you is the gift of Choice. You can choose your path to success. Nobody can take away this gift from you.
It is your own choice that you don’t exercise this ability to choose in life and follow destructive influences to lose the ability to choose. He always expects you to succeed in life, and he always extends his best hand to you for helping you to succeed in life.
Once there lived a very committed devotee of Lord Shiva in a Village. The village was once flooded. First, a Jeep came and carried people to safe places, but this devotee wouldn’t go saying, “God will come for me.”
The water level increased and then the devotee climbed to the second floor. A boat came and carried the people to safe places. The devotee again didn’t go telling that God would come for him. When water level climbed up to the roof, a helicopter came and carried remaining people.
The village submerged in water. The devotee didn’t go and finally drowned, died and met his God after death. Upbraided he asked the God complainingly,” why didn’t you come to save me. I had worshipped you my whole life, and when I needed you most, you didn’t come to save me.” The God laughed and told him, “didn’t I send first a Jeep, then a boat and finally a helicopter.”
So the point is that God helps them who help themselves. God comes to hungry people in the form of food. God will never come to help you in a form that you want him in. But he will always be helping you.
